Preserving our natural resources through recycling
Every gesture counts, and the figures prove it: recycling one tonne of plastic saves 830 litres of oil, a precious non-renewable resource. Sustainability and environmental protection are priorities for Hanova!
Today, the environmental impact of recycling goes far beyond simply saving oil. By recycling one tonne of plastic bottles, we save 2.29 tonnes of CO2, the equivalent of driving a car 20,000 kilometres. These impressive figures underline the importance of recycling in combating climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Fortunately, recycling efforts are making progress. Today, 65% of plastic packaging placed on the market can be recycled, and 15% is currently being recycled. These initiatives are promising, as they pave the way for a future increase in the volume of recycling and an even greater reduction in our environmental footprint.
Needless to say, each and every one of us is playing our part in this process by recycling our plastic waste properly. Whether it’s through selective sorting at home or by using specific collection points, everyone can help make a significant difference to our planet.
Plastic recycling is much more than a simple ecological action. It’s a concrete act that helps to preserve our natural resources, reduce our impact on the environment and create a more sustainable future for generations to come.
By encouraging our customers to adopt recycling practices and offering environmentally-friendly packaging solutions, we are helping to build a greener, healthier future. Plastic recycling is not only an environmental responsibility, it is also an opportunity for Hanova to play a positive role in protecting our planet and creating a sustainable circular economy.
